The vast majority of our pools are finished with a pebble plaster. These finishes are created with pebbles found around the world and specifically selected to blend with your backyards natural landscaping and features.

Many people have started to use glass tile above the plaster at the pools waterline because it beautifully reflects the sunlight and gives the pool a more elegant touch. Others splurge on an all glass tile pool in order to get a unique, resort-style radiance they can get only from a pool with a glass bottom.
Especially in the Texas Hill Country, where Keith Zars Pools builds many pools, people are looking for a swimming pool that blends in seamlessly with its natural surroundings. These pools are free-form, lagoon style pools that look more like a natural body of water than a swimming pool. Many of these pools include natural stone decking, boulder waterfalls, and other stone water features.
A sun shelf is similar to a beach entry or zero entry. Its literally a shelf at the entry of the pool, 6 inches below the coping. There are many practical uses for a sun shelf, also known as a baja step. Many people like to add them to their pool if they have young children (or grandchildren) who are not strong swimmers yet. The sunshelf provides a safer place for them to splash around and play. Its also great for adults! A larger sunshelf will allow room for a lounger or two and gives a great place to cool off in the water without getting fully emerged in the pool.
