The holiday season is here and for many of us, this year is unlikely to resemble any holiday season in previous years. COVID-19 has changed the way we do business, the way we live our daily lives and affected our wonderful San Antonio community in an unprecedented fashion. As more families struggle in a time riddled with uncertainty, the need is even more profound to try to make a small difference in the lives of others.
Every year, Keith Zars Pools embraces the opportunity to partner with local non-profits to help those in need experience the joy of the holiday season. This year, the pool company is honored to be collaborating with The Salvation Army to Rescue Christmas through its Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree program helps provide gifts to thousands of children in the Greater San Antonio area. “As fewer red kettles grace the entrances of local businesses and street corners, we hope our efforts to help will be impactful,” says Paul Zars, Pool Kings personality and Design Consultant at Keith Zars Pools.
Gifts of new toys and clothing are distributed to families in need who have enrolled in the program. Once a child is accepted as an Angel, donors can shop for gifts filling the child’s wish list. In light of the uniqueness of this season, Keith Zars Pools was asked to donate specific items that are the most needed and requested by children participating in the Angel Tree program. From Barbies to Beyblades, Legos to Bluetooth speakers and much needed shoes, Keith Zars Pools hopes to make an impact this holiday season bringing smiles to children throughout the Greater San Antonio area.
“Your gift will bless a family right here in our community. Thank you for giving a less fortunate family in need a HAPPY HOLIDAY,” The Salvation Army
