If you’re in the market for a custom pool, you’re probably searching for a little inspiration for pool designs and ideas. You’ve come to the right spot on the Internet for that! In this blog, we’re going to look at a few pool designs that we built here in the San Antonio area to start turning your creative gears.
This freeform pool is 25 feet by 28 feet. It has an infinity edge (aka a ‘vanishing edge’ or ‘negative edge’) and a floating spa with an overflow into a shallow area of the main pool. The coping material is a double lugged Oklahoma flagstone, and the beautiful water color is thanks to the Black Marble Pebble Tec® plaster.
Here is a 20 foot by 40 foot freeform pool with multiple features. It has a Hill Country boulder waterfall with a grotto, a weeping wall, a 40 square foot raised spa with a boulder overflow, and two beach entries (also called a “zero entry”), one on each side of the pool. The water color is from the Blue Gray Pebble Fina® plaster.
This 19 foot by 34 foot pool is rectangular with beautiful sweeping curves. It has a spa with a walk over channel flume, and a cascading water sculpture platform. The coping and patio areas are Hadrian cut stone, and the plaster is Caribbean Blue Pebble Tec®.
If you’re looking for something simple, that still has a lot of backyard appeal, this 17 foot by 34 foot angular form pool may be an idea for you. It has a raised spa with seven stainless steel spillovers, and the Spring rain mosaic glass pool tile looks terrific on the tile line and spa face. The water color is Moonlight Gray Pebble Tec® plaster.
Now, if you’re looking for something simple but extremely unique, a pool like this angular shaped one may be great for you! This pool in particular is 23 feet wide by 48 feet long, and its only water feature is a brass fountain jet. The waterline tile is cream stone, which matches the coping, and the water color is from the Emerald Bay Pebble Tec® plaster.
This 22 foot by 40 foot contemporary pool is actually in the Boerne area. It boasts an 18 inch raised spa with a layered Quartzite overflow and a matching Quartzite beach entry and deck, three lueders stone scuppers, zinc lustre glass tile, and Jade Pebble Tec® plaster.
