Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.).
- Diagnose and fix equipment issues.
- Ensure pools and equipment are clean and safe.
- Maintain a stocked truck and communicate with customers.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience (RAIL license a plus).
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must pass drug screening and background check.
- Ability to swim and perform physical tasks.

Keith Zars Pools, Ltd., the “Best-in-Class” residential and commercial pool builder in Texas, is currently seeking a skilled CDL Driver with a passion for delivering our legendary excellence in customer service!
The CDL Driver, Flatbed with Piggyback Lift is responsible for operating our trucks/lifts when transporting/loading/offloading pool construction materials and/or equipment to various job site locations in a safe manner. Driver will also work in the yard area to stockpile and move materials as needed. In addition to your hauling duties, you must inspect your truck for any damage or general mechanical issues on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning and maintaining the assigned truck & lift
- Ensure proper use of truck tracking software and reporting any malfunctions
- Performing daily pre/post-trip inspections
- Maneuvering the truck safely to ensure equipment and materials arrive intact safely and onsite correctly
- Properly and thoroughly complete any paperwork related to the pickup/delivery of materials
- Turn in all paperwork/receivers daily
- Adhere to and maintain the company mandated driver safety scorecard program
- Other duties as assigned
This position requires timely and regular attendance and flexibility to work day/night shifts including Saturdays with occasional overtime.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid, clean and active CDL B driver’s license
- Current Medical DOT Card
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3 years of CDL B higher driving Experience
Other Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test/ DOT physical and functional exam
- Must be insurable by Keith Zars Pools Fleet Insurance Carrier standards
Knowledge of:
- DOT, OSHA, EPA, DNR and MSHA regulations
- Federal, State, and Local Safety environmental compliance laws/regulations
Skilled in:
- The correct and safe operation & maintenance of assigned equipment
Ability to:
- Complete and submit accurate daily time cards and additional required paperwork
- Consistently meet delivery expectations in a safe and proficient manner
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
- Learn and demonstrate competency in required regulations and training
- Maneuver in and out of the truck/lift safely
- Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
