Will it cost anything to get an estimate?

No. We will provide a computer-generated pool plan designed by one of our landscape architects free of charge. This comprehensive proposal will outline how we propose to build your pool and will provide detailed pricing.

What does a pool cost?

It depends….We are a custom pool builder so price will vary depending on many factors, including, but not limited to, the slope and elevations of your yard, excavation topography, composition of the soil (rock, dirt, sand, or clay), size of pool, added features such as fire features, location of pool build, decking, textiles chosen for plaster, coping type, tile, etc.

Can I finance my pool?

Yes. Pools are typically financed through a home improvement loan similar to a home mortgage. Financial lenders often look favorably upon swimming pool financing because a pool will add value to your home. Learn about our preferred lenders by clicking here.

How do I go about selecting my pool design, style and materials?

Our Outdoor Living Idea Center has everything that you want to see. We showcase an extensive selection of pool materials, including glass and ceramic tile, natural stones, and pool and deck finishes. We also feature multiple full-size pools and spas. Each features different designs and materials to make it easy for you to visualize your own private paradise.

Will your company help me with my Home Owners Association and/or permits?

Yes. We have a customer care specialist who will assist to make sure that all of the necessary paperwork gets taken care of. If a permit is required, Keith Zars Pools will do all of the work necessary to obtain the permit.

How long does it typically take to build a pool?

Many factors can determine the timeline for a pool build. Consideration for the pool’s size and shape, the slope and elevation of the jobsite, topography, accessibility of jobsite and the scope of the project all affect the project’s timeline. Weather can also delay a project’s progress.

Will there be a job superintendent assigned to my project?

Yes. Each job will have a full-time construction superintendent to oversee every aspect of the construction process. Every customer will have an opportunity to meet with their superintendent before the construction of their pool starts.

Who will be building my pool?

Keith Zars Pools prides itself on building and managing a large in-house workforce which allows us to ensure the highest quality and consistency of work for our customers. From excavation to masonry, plaster and beyond, many of the skilled craftsman you will meet on your job-site are employed directly by Keith Zars Pools.

Do you offer a pool cleaning service?

Keith Zars Pools wants our customers’ swimming pools to look pristine year-around. In order to keep our customers (and their pools) happy, we are thrilled to offer complete weekly pool maintenance in San Antonio and surrounding areas through the following services:

• Vacuum or brush pool
• Skim surface of pool
• Clean skimmer baskets
• Clean main filter
• Clean pump basket
• Backwash (at least once per month, or as needed)
• Test chemicals
• Add proper amount of chemicals

We are able to clean most pools including in-ground (gunite), fiberglass and vinyl liner pools. Please call us or submit a request here if you are interested in having a professional pool technician help you with maintaining your swimming pool.
